Chua Hong Hui is an Associate in PKWA Law’s Family Law Practice Group. She advises and represents clients in a full range of family and matrimonial matters, including divorce, child custody, maintenance, division of matrimonial assets, adoption, deputyship, and personal protection applications.
Hong Hui has acted in both contested and uncontested family cases, including high-conflict custody disputes and complex asset divisions. She has appeared before the Family Justice Courts and the Family Division of the High Court, and is experienced in preparing affidavits, submissions, and supporting evidence for trials and hearings.

- Successfully defended a father in a maintenance arrears suit by resisting a lump-sum payment order and securing an instalment-based arrangement aligned with his income pattern.
- Obtained a Personal Protection Order for an ex-husband against his former spouse after cross-examination established deliberate intent to cause harm.
- Negotiated an out-of-court settlement for a client harassed by a former partner under the Protection from Harassment Act, resulting in a no-contact undertaking favourable to the client.
- Represented an ex-husband in a Summons hearing and persuaded the Court to admit additional witness affidavits at a late stage of proceedings, strengthening the client’s position before ancillary matters.
- Secured a favourable settlement in a heavily contested divorce where the client, a husband in a long marriage, obtained 58.5% of the matrimonial asset pool despite the wife being a traditional homemaker.
In addition to her family law practice, Hong Hui has experience in civil litigation and is the counsel in a reported High Court decision concerning property dispute (Sin Chiau Soon v Aitken Robert Bond [2025] SGHC 94). She also has experience in corporate and intellectual property matters with multinational companies.
